RUSSEL S. ALABADO

Russel Alabado is a Certified Public Accountant and a lawyer with extensive experience in tax, litigation, labor, and intellectual property law. He represents clients, in both contentious and non-contentious matters, before the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), Court of Tax Appeals (CTA), Bureau of Customs (BoC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO), Department of Agrarian Reform Adjudication Board (DARAB), and Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC).

After passing the CPA Board Exams in 1997, Russel joined the tax compliance group of Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.) where he handled tax compliance audit, tax queries and research, tax protests, request for BIR opinion, Fringe Benefit Tax compliance audit, and due diligence audit.

Russel Alabado obtained his law degree and accountancy degree (with academic distinction) from San Beda College where he was a consistent Dean’s Lister. He passed the CPA Board Exam in 1997 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2004. Before joining Pastrana Fallar, Russel Alabado was an associate at the V.E. Del Rosario Law Offices.
